Did you spot us filming our brand new Westport Adventure ad on the streets of Westport?
We sent out the call for some amazing locals to take charge and be a part of our fantastic new ad – and the response was overwhelming!
On March 27th, acclaimed production company Roamer, accompanied by our fantastic bunch of local volunteer actors, set out to create some film magic.
Who Are Roamer?
Roamer is a Dublin-based production company founded by director of photography, Conor Hayes. With clients like Adidas, Failte Ireland, and Rockshore, Roamer has established itself as a leading name in the industry.
Lochlain McKenna, a multi-award-winning director, leads Roamer. His portfolio includes ads for renowned brands such as Specsavers, Guinness, and Tesco, along with music videos for artists like Westlife and Keane. McKenna’s work has garnered over 100 million views online, and he’s had the privilege of collaborating with sports legends like Johnny Sexton, Roy Keane, Sam Warburton, and Paul O’Connell. Notably, his short film, “Two For The Road,” recently made the Oscar long-list.
We here at Westport Adventure are thrilled to be working with Roamer on our brand new video advert for Mayo’s newest outdoor adventure park!
Lights, Camera, Action!
Excitement filled the air on filming day, with bustling camera crews, lighting setups, sound equipment, and, of course, our incredible local actors.
The bustling streets of Westport were alive with the energy of locals darting through town, captured on film and expertly guided by the Roamer team.
