In no particularly order, here’s 7 of our brand new activities you NEED to try this summer at Westport Adventure:
1. The Net Park
You’re definitely going to want to grab your tickets to the Net Park at Westport Adventure – did you know Ireland’s largest Net Park will be right here at Westport Adventure?
But what exactly is a Net Park? In essence, it’s a high-flying playground suspended amidst the treetops and heights of our quarry area, offering a unique blend of adrenaline-fueled challenges and breathtaking views.
Typically, Net Parks are divided into different levels to cater to a range of ages and abilities, and here at Westport Adventure, we have three distinct zones within our Net Park, including The Big Bounce, Tree House Adventure, and Junior Bounce Zone.
Perfect for kids and kids at heart, this unique activity space promises lots of laughter and excitement.
2. Giant Swing
Experience an unforgettable thrill with stunning views on the Giant Swing at Westport Adventure at Westport Estate.
With eight available seats, you can choose to take on this exhilarating ride solo or share the excitement with friends and family.
Suspended above the quarry’s edge, prepare for an electrifying pendulum swing that delivers an instant adrenaline rush. Rest assured, our expert instructors ensure a safe and thrilling adventure for all.
3. Aerial Trekking
Ready to test your skills on our Aerial Trekking course at Westport Adventure?
Challenge yourself as you navigate suspended obstacles and daring heights, putting your balance, agility, and courage to the test. Starting at a comfortable height, the course gradually escalates, offering swoops, scales, and balancing acts along the way.
For the ultimate thrill, venture into our advanced zone, featuring aerial obstacles like ropes, swinging logs, net bridges, and ziplines of increasing difficulty.
4. Twin Ziplines
Experience the thrill of flight as you zip along the Twin Ziplines, spanning across the park’s quarry.
Launching from the top of the quarry, enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view as you zip towards the quarry floor. Riding side-by-side with friends or family, challenge each other to a race to the finish line.
5. Climbing Zone
Prepare to challenge your climbing skills at the Climbing Zone in Westport Adventure.
Our Outdoor Climbing Towers reach a towering height of 10 meters (3 storeys), boasting a variety of climbing lanes and walls with different difficulty levels.
The highlight of our Climbing Zone is the see-through, double-sided rock climbing wall, offering the ultimate climbing experience. Compete against a friend as you ascend on opposite sides, engaging in an exhilarating race to the top while maintaining eye contact through the transparent wall.

From a towering 3-storey platform, gaze down at the quarry below, with only our safety mats awaiting your descent. Unleash your inner adventurer and take a fearless leap off the Quarry Edge Leap platform.
True to its name, the Quarry Edge Leap is over in seconds, leaving you with an exhilarating rush of adrenaline. Our expert guides will be there every step of the way, ensuring you feel confident and ready to take the plunge.
7. Giant Slides
Get ready for an epic thrill ride on the Giant Slide at Westport Adventure.
Ascend towards these colossal slides and feel the anticipation grow with each step, as you admire the stunning surroundings of our 400-acre Estate from higher and higher vantage points.
At the summit, choose your slide, position yourself at the start, and prepare for an exhilarating journey down camel humps, curves, and corkscrews at lightning speed. With each exhilarating descent, you’ll find yourself eager to climb back up for another round of excitement!
