Customer Information: Inclusion and Sensory Policy

Westport Adventure is committed to providing an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all our customers. We strive to create a welcoming environment for visitors with sensory sensitivities and disabilities.

Supervisory and Participation Requirements

For safety reasons, all children must be supervised by an adult (18+) throughout their visit. The recommended participation requirements can be found on our website for each activity.

Carer Admission

Carers for guests with disabilities will be granted free entry into the park.  Carers ID may be requested at check in such as Family Carers card, Doctors note/letter or verification from a carer support organisation such as AS I am.

Sensory Considerations

Communication Boards: We have communication boards installed throughout the adventure park to assist visitors who may have difficulty with verbal communication.

Staff Training: Our staff has completed inclusion training to better understand and support the needs of our diverse visitors. They can also adapt activities such as the Climbing Zone, Quarry’s Edge Leap, Giant Swing and Giant Slides for customers with restricted mobility. Please contact us for more information on accessibility options.

Social Stories: We have social stories available that provide a guide to the adventure park activities. These stories can help prepare visitors for their visit and ease any anxieties they may have.

We encourage you to contact us if you have any questions about our accessibility features or require further assistance in planning your visit. We’re here to ensure everyone has a fun and inclusive experience at Westport Adventure Park!
